The floorboards were filthy, and a pungent odor of uncleaned spills and filthy restrooms suffused the entire establishment . With a smell of a mixture of human waste, putrefaction and a sickly smell. The bar area , which should be the primary feature of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and debris that looked like it hadn’t been touched in ages . The lavatory was in even a truly awful state— spilling over , with a shattered handle and tiles smeared in what I can only assume was human waste .

Going through other patrons’ reviews and talking to people around at this website , it seems that the quality of upkeep (or lack thereof) at this pub is a long-standing issue .
